Graduate Senate election results 2009


Dr Barry Catchlove, Peter FitzSimons, Jane Spring and David Turner have been elected, and Dr Michael Copeman has been re-elected, as Fellows of Senate by and from the graduates of the University.

The results of the recent Alumni Council elections for Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, Economics & Business/AGSM, Law and Pharmacy have been announced.

Sydney improves in world rankings


The University of Sydney has increased its position in the prestigious Times Higher Education world rankings, moving up one position to be ranked 36 amongst the world's top 200 universities and equal second in Australia.
